A Bit Of Whimsy

This is our new dining table.  I love the soft colors and the giant comfy chairs. It makes me want to get a dress on and have a tea party.  I absolutely love it and really wish we had a dining area where I can put chairs on both side and just have more room around it, but oh well!

The table color is Sherwin Williams Veiled Violet and sealed with Minwax Natural Finishing Paste. The chairs are painted with Valspar La Fonda in Flat.  I recovered the seats with a table cloth from Target and added plastic covering to protect from my toddlers.  The chairs are also sealed with finishing paste.  The top is stained with a Minwax Jacobean and English Chestnut mixture.  It is sealed with Rustoleum Clear Enamel Spray Paint, my favorite for a glossy durable surface.

Chic Grey Dresser

We received this dresser for free...awesome!!  The drawers are fantastic and the piece is solid.  the only downside was that the top wasn't wood, but I got over it!  This is Zachie's dresser now, even though I tried to steal it for myself and one point.  I added some fun paper to the drawer fronts and gave it some new hardware.

The color is Sherwin Williams Tin Smith.  It is sealed with Minwax Natural Finishing Paste.
