The top is stained with a mix of Minwax Early American and English Chestnut; it is sealed with Polyurethane. The body is painted in Sherwin Williams Gale Force and sealed with Minwax Special Dark Wax.

Claw Foot Table
This table is so gorgeous. The legs have wonderful detail, the top is beautiful wood, and the whole thing is incredibly solid. We picked this up at Goodwill for $12. Generally, Jesse and I talk about each piece before we decide to buy to make sure we want to take the project on. I saw this and then the $12 tag and didn't even hesitate. It was ours before Jesse even reached the furniture section...good thing he was on board too! It cleaned up beautifully.

- Growing up we never realized that we could make or change our furniture. Now that we are old and grown..ha..we realized that you can do anything you want to do. We like finding an old battered piece of furniture and seeing what we can make of it. We find joy in the journey and love seeing our pieces go to someone who loves them. Our house is slowly changing to whatever we want it to be and we are loving seeing the transformation.
