Hand Picked

This dresser was originally for my little boy but things happen and my husband opens his mouth when he delivers pieces we have sold and stuff we have suddenly disappears.  A friend took both the white dresser and race car dresser and needed one for herself.  Thus, the husband mouth opens and says we have another.  Since it wasn't even close to being done she was able to choose her colors.  We stained the top to match her bed and she picked a color on the home depot website.  It turned out great for a color we both had never seen up close. There are no nobs in the pictures because she bought those separately.  I love how it turned out.  The color was so light that the beautiful wood grain showed through and gave it a great look.

The color is Behr Calm Water and the top is stained with Minwax Ebony.  The top is finished with Minwax Dark Wax and the bottom with Finishing Paste.

About Me

My photo
Growing up we never realized that we could make or change our furniture. Now that we are old and grown..ha..we realized that you can do anything you want to do. We like finding an old battered piece of furniture and seeing what we can make of it. We find joy in the journey and love seeing our pieces go to someone who loves them. Our house is slowly changing to whatever we want it to be and we are loving seeing the transformation.
