We picked up this dresser just down the street and didn't know what to do with it. It took quite a bit of staring and walking away before the magic light bulb went off in my head. Now I know everyone doesn't think the same things are beautiful or ugly for that matter, but this is something I really loved. I learned the hard way that you do not paint a piece without that magic light bulb. It will just not be what you want when you finish it if you slap on some paint and call it good. Not everything looks it's best in white, or brown, or black. Some things look absolutely amazing in yellow, you just never know. This dresser turned race car when we added some red and blue stripes. Stripes are way harder than I ever imagined. Taping in a straight line, managing bleed through, getting the drawers to match if they aren't on rollers, bah! I would totally do it again!
The color is Behr Bleached linen, Behr Roasted Pepper, Behr Deep Royal. It is finished with Minwax Finishing Paste.
