Spray Paint Anyone?

When we bought this guy it was white with each drawer labeled with it's different content.  It was a poorly done paint job with deep brush strokes and globs of paint.  I didn't feel like getting all that off so I tried my hand at spray painting.  We painted it to match our sons bedding, and it does to a T but we have already moved on to another dresser for him.  This stripe job was a bit easier than the race car bed.  I only did one stripe and only on the top and drawers, not the body of the dresser.  It turned out great but again with drawers not on rollers or runners the line tends to be a little distorted.

The color is Rustoleum Painter's Touch Navy Blue and the stripe is Behr Poppy Glow.  It was finished with Minwax Finishing Paste to soften the spray paint look.

About Me

My photo
Growing up we never realized that we could make or change our furniture. Now that we are old and grown..ha..we realized that you can do anything you want to do. We like finding an old battered piece of furniture and seeing what we can make of it. We find joy in the journey and love seeing our pieces go to someone who loves them. Our house is slowly changing to whatever we want it to be and we are loving seeing the transformation.
